Verified Booked this somewhat last minute for a quick, much needed 3 day trip with our dogs. What a great find! The dogs LOVED IT!! So peaceful and quiet. Our youngest loved the enchanted forest and scavenger hunt. Julia was awesome to work with! Very responsive and friendly! We will be back!

Verified Exactly what we needed, relaxed and took in the beautiful property. Sitting outside watching the birds and squirrels play in the morning while drinking our coffee was a perfect way to start the day. Then mid morning two female deers would come into the yard to eat. Just perfect

Verified It was a great stay for my wife and I with our two dogs. The house was great and there was a great view out of the big living room windows. The road is a little rough traveling through Donnelly so just drive a little more carefully. 10/10 will rent again. Great place to stay if you enjoy hikes, fishing, OHV trail riding, or just being in the outdoors.

Verified We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful rustic cabin. The serene lake views were absolutely stunning and made for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept great every night. We also really appreciated that the cabin was dog-friendly, allowing our furry family member to enjoy the trip with us. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature—we'd love to come back!

Verified Our stay at the Lazy Hound in Donnelly was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The scavenger hunt was such a fun and unique touch—it kept us exploring the property and added an extra sense of adventure to our stay. The views are breathtaking, and after a day of exploring, soaking in the hot tub while taking in the mountain scenery was pure perfection. Combined with the warmth and charm of the cozy wood stove, it made for the ultimate relaxing getaway. As dog lovers, we especially appreciated how truly pet-friendly the cabin is. The location couldn't be better—just minutes from the Fishing Hole and close to all the outdoor adventures we wanted, while still feeling peaceful and secluded.A special thank you to Julia and Patricia, who were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.We will definitely be back! Thank you so much.
